  • Stable. With starch-based products, the amylase from a patient's/resident's saliva breaks down the beverage over time, thinning it out. Because Thick-It® Clear Advantage™ is fiber based, there are no sugars that can be broken down.
  • Consistency. Thick-It® Clear Advantage™ uses xanthan, which means it is always the same viscosity.
